This is a photo of the George Movie Theater and The White Shop Cafe. Looks like the theater building was already in pretty tough shape at the time this photo was taken.

I remember going to the movie Jack and the Bean Stalk. It was the first movie I seen in a movie theather. My mother took me on a Sat. night the early show. It was a very scary movie and will never forget how scared I was!!! It had to be in the mid 50s !!
I recall seeing a "western" movie there when I was very young but can not remember it's name. I do remember there was a character named "Jelly Bean" in it and when the indians attacked he was hit by an arrow while his hand was in the jellybean jar at the general store. I fed the jukebox many a coin trying to impress a classmate named Peggy by playing "Patches". It didn't work! I think at that time the Geiske boys ran the White Shop. Memories.....
